WOW!! Look how nice it looks! Love your colors!
ReplyDeleteIt looks a lot bigger from the inside shots. IT really is cute! You have a large loft space! and I love your little porch! With all that insulation you should be snug as a bug inna rug there this coming winter! Are you going to insulate underneath and put wood plywood up? Have you been able to chill out up there yet or do you stay busy all the time working?! ...debbie
Hi Debbie, Yup, one of the tasks I'm looking forward to is insulating and critter sealing (plywood) the bottom of the joists. The insulation has already made an impact. Inside it stayed around 10 degrees cooler during the warmer days. Our last trip was mostly work. We do try to enjoy the breaks though with excellent meals, quiet moments enjoying the views, critters and eachother. When it got too hot we went to the lake or napped in the shade. Most of the work is a labor of love. My disproportionaly hot wife's enthusiasm for the project grows the more we get done.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your sweet wife will be extremely pleased and happy when you can get some furniture in there...little wine cooler...lol
ReplyDeleteIt's really come a long way!...debbie
