Kirby and other Yonderosa treasures.

Kirby Cooling off in the Creek

Going up to the lake!

Taking a well deserved nap.

On sunny mornings the sun would paint shadow murals.

I'm not sure but I think this is a female Audabon's Warbler. She was not happy about my proximity to the nest she was building but was good enough to pose for a picture.

The valley below is aglow with patches of yellow. The balsamroot is spectacular this time of year.

  1. Great photos!! Bet the dogs love it in the Mountains...our Lincoln loves it!! I hope you go up Memorial Day weekend and do lots of stuff so you can take pictures and show us what all you've done! Enjoy your post!!...debbie

  2. Very nice series of photos. I especially like the shadow mural and the warbler.

  3. It's really beautiful there! Nice of the bird to pose a bit...

    Keep the updates coming!
